Sisterly Shoutout

So if you haven't figured it out by now, my sisters are stunning. Fine, call me biased, but you've got to see for yourself. Kenzie, in particular, rocked this photo shoot a couple weeks back. And if her awesome looks aren't enough, she is filled with the most beautiful spirit. Now that's a cherry on top! I think we can agree that we all wish to be more like Kenz.

Blonde is Better

Well this weekend was a hoot! My brother-in-law came home from his mission in Colombia. What a sight to see him walk through that terminal. We later told stories, exchanged gifts and basically filled him in on what's "cool" these days. All in all, we had the best time with the Donaldson clan. You can imagine the hustle and bustle of it all... so there. That is my excuse for not blogging in forever.

Lots of changes are happening in the 2015, one of them is my hair! I loved my darker hair, but seem to always go back to blonde. I love it! All you Instagram peeps, you better follow @hairbymarissasue right now, she's a hair goddess and is one of the best people on this planet. Go follow her and if you feel so ever inclined to make an appointment with her, your hairs will shout with joy! PROMISE.

Life Lately

This last weekend was a good one! My parents flew in for the day (flight benefits, HOLLA) so we watched the Cardinals game then went to dinner; Beyond Bread of course! All of us had such a good time, which made saying goodbye hard that night. My parents are the best!


Hope your New Years Resolutions are going strong! We're doing pretty good over here! {Haha even if it's only the 7th} Our days have been without sugar/sweets, Scooter filled and a Temple Trip to Safford. We're embracing the 2015 and love this fresh start!

What a night we all had last night! Jerret and I hung with some friends in the early evening then decided to head back and spend the later evening together. 

We kept it low key, due to the slow-ish recovery of our colds. J and I got in our jammies and cozied up. What's not pictured is the Mt. Everest high pile of tissues I had. Anyone else with me on that one?

So the clock struck twelve, we kissed, made lots of noise and welcomed the New Year. At this point the Night Time Cold medicine was really kicking in. I was just glad I made it to 12!

While Jerret locked up the house, he shouted, "SNOWWWWWW!!!! THERE'S SNOW OUTSIDE!"

I somehow snapped out of it and gathered enough energy to go play in it for a bit. Snow in Tucson... who woulda thought.

What a way to start the New Year. I have a feeling it's gonna be the BEST ONE YET.
